Artist Interview: Cruzin Discusses His Influences

With just two projects under his belt, Cruzin has proved to have a unique sound and natural passion for his art. On his project Keep Faith he balances influences from his family to his Bronx upbringing beautifully. A song like “Tense” is an honest letter to the listener about the mind of a young artist trying to find footing in the world. Cruzin’s music has a certain vulnerability and warmth to it that makes the listener feel like they’re next to a country side bonfire with nothing but close family and open hearts. Cruzin raps over beats that compliment his distinct voice, these two elements make for timeless art that paints a picture without a single brush stroke.
